Psychotherapy Research Lab
Studies in the research lab of Dr. Jeffrey Berman focus on a broad range of issues concerning the process and outcome of psychotherapy and the interaction between therapist and client. The lab is within the psychotherapy research concentration of the Clinical Psychology program. Graduate and undergraduate assistants are involved in all phases of the research process and are encouraged to develop their own research projects.

ManyBabies (MB) is a collaborative project for replication and best practices in developmental psychology research. Our goal is to bring researchers together to address difficult outstanding theoretical and methodological questions about the nature of early development and how it is studied. The Trauma Group subset of Stanford Psychophysiology Laboratory. The broad, long-term objective of the trauma group is to examine the psychological challenges in the context of adults who have been exposed to childhood maltreatment. More specifically, we propose to use self-report and behavioral assessments to examine the way exposure to childhood maltreatment impaired adult survivors’ representations of their body and mind.
